When David Crowley stepped into office, he promised Milwaukee County a bold and inclusive future—and he’s delivering. During his first term, he declared racism a public health crisis, laid the groundwork for equitable budgeting practices, and boosted funding for mental health and youth programs. He’s also championed affordable housing and workforce development, believing that a stronger Milwaukee emerges when everyone has a fair shot at success. His vision for the county is clear: align policy, partnerships, and people around the common goal of making Milwaukee County the healthiest in Wisconsin.

He’s a homegrown leader who understands firsthand the obstacles facing Milwaukee’s most underserved communities, and that drives his every decision.
